Project brief introduction

A certain Aircraft Corporation of Shanghai

A Process engineering team of its engineering technology department has undertaken the job to manufacture the horizontal stabilizer of Boeing737-NG. Horizontal tail's main function is to be able to stabilize and manipulate direction. Therefore in the processing of manufacturing horizontal stabilizer, its thickness and wing-tail angle must be strictly controlled.

Technnical Requirement

Being able to inspect the thickness and wing-tail angle of horizontal stabilizers for 700 Boeing737-NG. It's length can be up to 7m, and its thickness is less than 20mm. Materials; As this kind of product is long and thin and easy to deform, inspection equipment must be capable to collect data instantly to guarantee accuracy and integrality.

Inspection Efficiency - Less than 1h to inspect 1 horizontal tail. Precision Requirement - Dimensional accuracy must be controlled within 0.05mm.
